去阿尔马菲海岸 (Going to The Amalfi Coast)

今天又是一个乘车周转的一天，因为我俩要去下一站阿尔马菲海岸。因为有了在拥挤的公交车上被偷的经历，所以我俩不打算拿着行李再挑战公车了，打车去了火车站。坐火车2个多小时到了那不勒斯市。

Monday, August 6

Today is another travel day, because we are going to the next stop, the Amalfi Coast. Because of the experience of the pickpocket on the crowded bus, we took a taxi to the train station. It took less that 2 hours by train to reach the city of Naples.

到了那不勒斯火车站，坐巴士到了机场，PJG在那里租了车，我俩要开车去阿尔马菲海岸我俩的民宿。听说我俩要开车去的人都开始警告我俩，说路很窄，很弯，并且有很多大巴。当然开过英国乡间小路的PJG觉得根本不在话下 😅    从那不勒斯到阿尔马菲的实际路程并不算远，但是要走弯弯绕绕的盘山路，开车要花1个半小时左右。一路上这盘山路还真是盘山路，有一大段就像走大大的之字形，路很窄，但是还好比英国的乡间小路还要宽一些。 意大利人还真是疯狂，把房子都建在了悬崖峭壁上， 所以一路上在回环曲折的山路上还能看到很美的景色，一侧是山崖和房屋，一侧是一望无际的天海合一。

After we arrived at the train station in Naples, we took the bus to the airport, where PJG had a rental car waiting and then we drove to our place on the Almafi coast. I had heard many people warning us about driving in Amalfi, saying that the road is very narrow, very curved, and there are many buses. Of course, PJG who tackled the English country roads driving on the left,  feels that it will not be a problem. The actual distance from Naples to Almafi is not that far, but it still took about an hour and a half to drive the very winding mountain road. There is a large section of zigzags up the mountain in a series of tight curves. The road is narrow, but actually wider than the British country roads. The Italians are really crazy and built their houses on the cliff edges, so you can see beautiful scenery along the twisting roads with cliffs and houses on the edge held up only by the endless sky and sea.

PJG的车技还是不错，平安地到达了民宿，我俩的民宿也是建在半山腰上，民宿主人感觉是非常朴实的意大利当地人，他和家人的房子在民宿的山下一阶，还告诉我俩可以去他的院子里的平台上，那里可以看到大海。

PJG’s drving skills are very good and we arrived at the AirBnb safely and found that it is also built on the mountainside. The owner of the AirBnb comes across as a very friendly Italian local. He and his family’s house are right across the road from us. They also tell us we can use their patio in his yard, where we view the sea and have coffee.

我俩安顿下来后，去附近的一个超市买了一些食物。这里不算方便，周围基本没有饭店或是便利店，山下面一些有几个饭店和一个超市，开车9分钟，走路要一个多小时，所以我俩打算在民宿做饭吃 😀

After we settled down, we went to a nearby supermarket to buy some food. It is not that convenient here to go out. There are basically no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. Although there are several restaurants and a supermarket at the foot of the mountain. It takes about 9 minutes to drive down and more than an hour to walk, so we plan to cook more at the apartment.
