意面，披萨，披萨，意面，这就是吃在意大利的总结 😂 😂 😂 😂
我俩去过的或者是路过的很多很多饭店都是基本在卖同样的东西，尤其是罗马，真是太没有创意了，可能因为都是针对游客的，但是哪里是本地人吃饭的地方呢？我俩就一个也没见到吗？ 更糟糕的是，意大利的意面还没有我在萨尔茨堡吃的好吃，特别单调，意面里的配菜花样少，量也少，基本就是吃面和酱，毫无诚意可言。当然你可以说那可以点其他的主菜啊，问题是除了意面，披萨，其他的主菜，也就是意大利叫的Secondi， 基本的选择就是一块牛排，猪排，羊排，或是一块鱼肉，几个虾，这类的配一点儿蔬菜，或是薯条的配菜，这类Secondi没什么不好，但也没什么惊喜可言，都是很平庸的味道。
意大利菜
因为我俩的民宿在山坡上，走了一天累的很不想再出去找吃的，幸好有一个特别当地的饭店离我俩很近，走下坡路大概6，7分钟。这里应该没有很多游客，但是他们有英语菜单。老板是一个特别典型的意大利人的感觉，热情开朗，他还特别爱唱歌，不但和顾客（应该都是他的老回头客们）打成一片，还经常用歌声来回答问题。我俩第一天和第二天两天都去那里吃的晚饭，第二天他似乎认识我俩了，跟我俩叽里咕噜说意大利语，中途还对着我俩唱歌，那种意大利歌剧的歌声，我给他看帕瓦罗蒂的照片，说我只认识他，结果他并不喜欢帕瓦罗蒂，😄

Pasta, pizza, pizza, pasta, this is my summary of eating in Italy 😂 😂 😂 😂
Many of the restaurants we have been to or have passed by all basically just offer the same dishes, especially in Rome. It may be because they’re aiming at tourists, but where do the locals eat? we aren’t able to find a single one? To my disappointment, the Italian pasta is not as good as the ones we had in Salzburg. They seem very simple with very few ingredients, which basically means just noodles and sauce. Of course, I can order other main dishes, but the problem is that in addition to pasta, pizza, the Secondi in Italy is usually just a piece of steak, pork chop, lamb chops, or a piece of fish with the side dishes of vegetables or French fries. There’s nothing wrong with those dishes, but nothing interesting either, especially when they come with mediocre taste.
Italian cuisine
Because our AirBnb was on the hillside, after a long tiring day, we don’t want to go out to exploring to find food. Fortunately, we found a small special local restaurant that is very close and only about 6 minutes down the hill. This area was far from the tourist so likely mostly locals here, although they do have English menus. The boss seems to be a very typical Italian, warm and cheerful and he also loves to sing, not only with the customers (I assume for his old repeat customers), but also often uses his voice to sing the answers to the questions. We went to dinner there twice and on the second day he acted like we were old friends, talking to us as well as singing to us in the middle of dinner. He sang a snippet of an Italian opera so I showed him a picture of Pavarotti and told him he’s the only Italian opera singer I know – he doesn’t like Pavarotti.
这里的菜看起来就像家庭式饭菜，没有精美设计的装盘，但是味道还不错，厨师应该是老板的太太和老板太太的姐姐。更重要的是，我俩去的时候这里的顾客都是本地人，性价比也非常高。
The dishes here are like home cooked meals, without fancy designed plating, but they all tasted pretty good; I think the chef is the boss’s wife. More importantly, when we went there, the customers here were locals and the price was very reasonable.

Naples披萨
这里据说是披萨的原始地。我俩从那不勒斯下了火车，去租车的地方取车之前，去了这家火车站旁边的披萨店。味道还好，但也没什么值得膜拜的。
Naples Pizza
Naples is said to be the origin of the pizza. We got off the train in Naples and before going to pick up our car we went to a pizza shop next to the train station. The taste was definitely good, but it’s not worth worshipping.
意大利菜
这是在Maiori吃的午饭，因为这里靠海，所以应该有很多海鲜，可是这家饭店的海鲜选择并不多，我点了一个烤鱼，以为是一整条鱼，但是上来的只是一片鱼肉，而且我觉得100%不是新鲜的，吃起来像是冷冻过的鱼肉。PJG的海鲜意面味道还好。
Italian Cuisine
This is our lunch in Maiori and because it is close to the sea you’d think there should be a lot of seafood – but there was not much seafood in this restaurant. I ordered a grilled fish and thought it would be the whole fish, but it was just a piece of fish. And I’m 100% is was not fresh – it tasted like frozen fish. On the plus side PJG’s seafood pasta tasted pretty good.
自己做饭
在Tovere山上民宿的第二晚，我俩发挥了民宿的真正作用，可以自己做饭，这也是这次旅行的第一次。在附近超市买好的茄子，西葫芦，西红柿，培根，冻虾，意面等，今晚就发挥了作用。受意面的启发，我也做了西红柿酱的意面，虽然调料非常有限，但是我觉得我做的比饭店的好吃多了，主要原因是我放了很多的配菜！
Cooking at Home
On our second night at our place on Tovere Hill on the Amalfi Coast, we played the role of a real AirBnb and cooked a meal in our kitchen – actually the first time of the trip. Buying fresh eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes, bacon, frozen shrimp, pasta, etc. at a nearby supermarket took center stage tonight. Inspired by all the pasta, I decided to make a tomato sauce based pasta. Although the seasoning we had was very limited, I think mine was more delicious than the restaurants. The main reason is that I put in a variety of vegetables!

这是我俩付出了20分钟下山，46分钟爬山的努力吃到的午餐，就在我俩民宿的Tovere小镇的直线下面的康加德马里尼小镇的海滩边，我俩都点了海鲜，我的是烧烤的，PJG的是炸的，可惜的是，饭店给他上错了，给他上了另一个菜就是炸鱿鱼，😄 对不起 PJG。 我的鱿鱼很新鲜，一个虾很新鲜，其他的味道一般般吧。不过，景色真是超美！
Italian cuisine
This is the lunch place we went to that took 20 minutes of stairs going down the mountain and 46 minutes to climb back up. It’s on the beach in the town of Conca dei Marini, a straight line down from our home in the town of Tovere. We both ordered seafood, mine barbecued and PJG’s fried, but unfortunately, the restaurant gave him the wrong dish and he ended up with fried squid, 😄 Sorry PJG. My squid and shrimp were very fresh, as were the rest of it. And the scenery is super beautiful!
