吃在布拉格（Eating in Prague）

和其它在这次旅行中吃过的菜相比，捷克菜目前来说似乎是最有味道的，有些味道还似曾相识的感觉。

捷克菜

这是我俩到布拉格后的第一顿晚餐，我俩溜达到老城广场，没想到这里的游客太多太多了，在广场中央的餐厅虽然位置好，可以坐在那里欣赏过往人群，可是价格太高了，而且都是针对游客的，我感觉味道肯定不会好，所以我俩就继续走，稍微远离了广场中心，碰到了这家饭店，价格还比较合理 😀   我点了他们菜单上的三个捷克传统菜的其中一个，翻译过来应该是炖猪肉和饺子，等菜上来后，我才发现那个根本不是饺子，而是和我们的馒头差不多的面食。看起来很有胃口的一道菜，我一吃，突然感觉这种味道怎么这么熟悉？非常像PJG平时做的一道墨西哥菜辣酱玉米饼馅！ 那个酱汁的那种辣的味道和PJG用的辣酱几乎一样！ 难道我俩进了一家有捷克传统菜的墨西哥餐厅？ 😂😂😂   总之，味道还算不错，比我想象的要好。

Compared to other dishes that we’re had on this trip, at the moment, I’d say some Czech cuisine has the most flavor, but others are just deja vu.

Czech cuisine

This is our first dinner after arriving in Prague. We both made our way into the Old Town Square where we found ourselves among thousands of other tourists. There were many restaurants in the square where we could sit and enjoy the passing crowd, but the prices were ridiculous and the food was aimed at tourists. We wanted to find something local, so we continued our walk away from the square. Farther away, we found this restaurant and the price seemed quite reasonable.

We ordered three traditional Czech dishes by translating the menu using the google app. The first one, which translated to “stewed pork and dumplings” sounded good but when the dish arrived we discovered that it was not dumplings at all, but a pasta similar to a Chinese steamed buns. The dish looked very appetizing and when I tried it, I immediately sensed a familiar taste? Much like PJG’s usual Mexican dish of enchiladas! The spicy taste of the sauce is almost the same as that of PJG’s! Did we enter a Mexican restaurant with traditional Czech cuisine? 😂😂😂 Anyway, in short the food was not bad, and better than I expected.

捷克菜

在老城广场附近的餐厅的价格都很高，而且都是针对游客的，我俩打算尝试一下远离旅游中心的地方，这个饭店离我俩的民宿非常近，就在马路对面。 价格几乎便宜了一半，而且也是经营捷克菜，顾客大部分都是本地人。菜码很大，味道也不错，我俩算是很满意了 😀

Czech cuisine

As the prices of the restaurants near the Old Town Square are very high, and they are aimed at tourists, we are going to try to stay away from the tourist center. This restaurant was just across the road from our AirBnB. The price is probably half as much as at the square and it the customers are mostly locals. The menu is big and the dishes were good. We were very satisfied. 😀

意大利菜

在布拉格的最后一晚，我俩决定在民俗附近找一家饭店解决晚餐。这家意大利菜价格适中，味道也还不错。这算是我俩这次旅游中第一次吃意大利菜吧，我对意大利菜也没什么好感，因为在家里吃PJG做的意大利面吃多了😂😅，这次其实很期待去意大利的时候尝试一下真正的意大利面。今天尝了一种意大利宽面，味道还真不错 😀 没有特别浓的芝士的味道。

Italian cuisine

On our last night in Prague, we decided to find another local restaurant near our apartment. This Italian restaurant was moderately priced and the food was good. This is the first time we have had Italian food on this trip (amazing right?). I don’t normally like Italian food very much, because at home it’s mainly PJG’s spaghetti. I am really looking forward to trying real pasta, but for today in Prague I had a wide Italian noodle and to my delight, it tasted really good. 😀 and a bonus, there was no cheese.

Trdlo 肉桂卷

这是中欧的一个传统甜点，常见于奥地利，捷克，斯洛伐克等国家。就是特制的面团卷在铁棍/木棍上，用炭火烤，边烤边旋转那个棍子，烤好后的甜点中心是空的，外面撒上肉桂粉之类的。布拉格有很多这种卖肉桂卷的店面，可以选择在空心的部分放奶油，巧克力，冰淇淋等。 我觉得这道甜点应该很好吃，可是因为针对了游客的需求，需要快速的制做大量的肉桂卷，所以烘烤和面团的制作就没有那么讲究了，所以感觉吃起来那个面团很硬，也没有什么味道。

Trdlo – Cinnamon Roll

This is a traditional dessert from Central Europe, commonly found in Austria, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The special dough is rolled on an iron bar/wooden stick and grilled on a charcoal fire while the stick is rotated creating a cone like pastry and sprinkled with cinnamon and the like. Many such shops in Prague sell these cinnamon rolls and then fill the hollow part with ice cream, chocolate, etc. I thought this dessert would be more delicious, but because I guess since its made quickly for the needs of tourists, there is not much care in the baking and dough production. So in summary I felt that the dough was tough to eat with not much taste.
