计划旅行的时候，我和PJG就约定好了每到一个城市，都要去吃一顿中餐，比较一下口味的变化。这个帖子用来总结这次旅行中尝试过的每一个中国饭店。
When planning our trip, PJG and I decided that for every new city we would try a Chinese meal and blog about which one was best. This post summarizes every Chinese restaurant that we’d been to during this trip.
赫尔辛基
梅林四川饭店
两个菜 47.61美元
今天中午去了这家四川饭店，总体来说味道很好，和国内的味道比较接近。老板娘是安徽人，她自豪的说她们坚持保持正宗的川菜味道。和老板的儿子聊了一会儿天，从他那里了解到如果申请做公民，他必须在29岁前至少服兵役半年，所以他刚服完兵役回来，马上就要去上大学，他说这里的大学是免费的！

Meilin Sichuan Restaurant

We went to this Sichuan restaurant for lunch today and overall the dishes were close to the authentic Sichuan flavor that we are used to. The owner is an native of Anhui province and she is proud to say that they insist on maintaining authentic Sichuan cuisine.
After chatting for a while with her son, who was also our waiter, I learned that if he wants to apply for citizenship in Finland, he must serve in the military for at least six months before the age of 29. So it turns out he had just returned from his military service and will be going to college soon. He said the university here is free to citizens!

由于我俩的民宿住地离中国城很近，就选择了这家在中国城离的餐馆。感觉中国城里大部分都是香港饭店，也有好几家看上去很正宗的四川火锅。这个饭馆的菜品照片看上去还不错，我俩点了在美国经常吃的三道家常菜，总体感觉还可以，不过没有赫尔辛基那家的好吃。价格不便宜，而且饭店直接加了10%的服务费，来英国后还是第一次见饭店自己就加了服务费的。我咨询了一下服务员，她声称这边的饭店都会加，而且她们是得不到的，都是给了老板的。还有，这个饭店要打包的盒子还需要付0.5英镑！而且是一个非常小的塑料盒子。
另外，英国的消费稅是20%， 在饭店或超市里看到的价格已经税后价了。不像美国，看到的都是税前价格，然后在结账的时候，会在加上百分几不等的税费。

We chose this restaurant in Chinatown which was very close to our AirBnb. It seems that most of the restaurants here are Hong Kong type restaurants however, there were several Sichuan hot pot places that looked authentic. The restaurant seen below looked good from the outside so we decided to eat there. We ordered three dishes that we often eat in the United States. The overall quality of the dishes was good but still didn’t compare to what we had eaten in Helsinki. The price was not cheap and the restaurant directly added a 10% service fee. After coming to the UK, it was the first time we had seen a restaurant adding a service fee. I asked the waiter about it and she claimed that all the restaurants in the UK would add a service charge but it didn’t go to the waiter it was given directly to the boss for distribution. Also, this restaurant charges £0.5 for a to go box! And it was a very small plastic box.
In addition, there is a 20% consumption tax in the UK so the price quoted in restaurants or supermarkets already has the tax included. Unlike in the United States where you see the pre-tax price and then at the time of checkout you are charged a percentage for taxes. So the prices at first seem higher, but after adjusting for the tax and service charges it is comparable.

这个四川饭店离我俩的民宿公寓很近，走路不到10分钟。吃了三天的法国菜，我俩非常期待这家川菜。饭店外面挂的照片看起来挺地道的。看到过好几家中国饭店都是那种像食堂一样的饭，事先做好了，放在器皿里卖。这家看起来应该是先做的。老板来法国几十年了，这家店刚开了1年多。我俩点了三个经常会吃的菜，结果就那个水煮鱼比较好吃，算是地道吧。

This Sichuan restaurant is very close to our AirBnb, less than a ten minute walk. After three days of French cuisine, we are very much looking forward to this Sichuan cuisine. The photos of the food outside the restaurant look quite authentic. In Paris, I have seen several Chinese restaurants that are more like buffets with food prepared in advance and presented at the counter. This restaurant is a standard cooked to order place. The boss has been in France for decades, and they had just opened last year. We ordered three dishes that we often eat. The boiled fish was delicious and authentic.

在网上读到的几个中国人说的好吃一点儿的中国菜都离我俩的民宿很远，懒得坐车特意过去吃了。今天中午在谷歌上搜到了一个中餐厅离我俩这里只有7分钟的步行距离，照片上看感觉是一家小小的广东菜馆，但是还是决定去满足要在每一个城市尝试中国菜的愿望，就去那里吃了午餐。到了之后，还真有些惊喜，因为那个女老板（没有问她具体是不是老板，但是感觉像是）说她们做四川菜，厨师是湖南的。菜谱上也有那些我俩经常点的菜，好高兴 😊 第一道辣子鸡，虽然看起来不是地道的辣子鸡，但是味道还不错，我的期待值瞬间升高。第二个水煮鱼上来后，看起来不是那么诱人，结果味道不是那么诱人，没有几片鱼，而且鱼肉是非常不新鲜，是我俩吃过的最不好吃的水煮鱼了，好失望啊 🙄 干煸四季豆也是一般般，没有炸到火候。总之，这是目前为止排名最后的中国菜。

The Chinese places that Chinese people had recommended about on the Internet were a little too far away from where we were staying. Today for lunch, we found a Chinese restaurant on Google that was only a seven minutes walk from us. The front of the restaurant made it look like a small Cantonese restaurant, but we decided to try it anyway to satisfy our goal of trying Chinese food in every city. After we got there, we got a bit of a surprise, because the female boss (not sure if she was really the boss) said that they are in fact serve Sichuan cuisine and the chef is from Hunan. There are also dishes on the menu that we often order, so we were happy. 😊 The first dish was Chongqing spicy chicken and although it does not really look like authentic spicy chicken the taste was not bad – my expectations are rising. After the second dish came, the boiled fish, it didn’t look very tempting and in fact was not very good and was not a fresh fish. It was the most disappointing boiled fish we had ever eaten. The dried beans were also not normal, not properly fried. In short, this is the worst Chinese place so far.

本来我没有打算在布拉格吃中餐的，因为在这里的时间很短。这家中国餐厅也是我俩中午的时候偶遇的，就打算吃顿简单的午餐。这里算是典型的大杂烩餐厅，没有什么主要的菜系，就是适合外国人吃那种各式炒菜，二楼午餐有自助，还经营日本寿司什么的。我俩就点了两份快餐饭，不算难吃，算是比较经济实惠的午餐吧。

Originally, we did not intend to eat Chinese food in Prague because our stay here was very short. We came upon this Chinese restaurant on our city walk and we planned to have a simple lunch. This is a typical “hodgepodge” restaurant with all sorts of different Chinese dishes. There was no major cuisine focus. It is suitable for foreigners to eat all kinds of stir-fry. On the second floor, there is a buffet for lunch and also Japanese sushi. We ordered two fast-food meals, which actually were not bad. It was one of our more affordable lunches.

没想到到维也纳的第一晚就吃了中餐。我俩开车到了维也纳，在民宿安顿好，把车停到了一个可以24小时停车的车库，做地铁回到民宿地带以后，维也纳竟然开始打雷闪电下大雨。我搜到了这个据说是很正宗的川菜店竟然离我俩很近，我俩就步行冒雨打着一把伞走了6分多钟到了这家饭店。刚一进去被告知没有位子，还好没等一小会儿就有了一个两人桌。饭店自称没有对川菜进行改进，属于存地道的川菜，我俩很激动的点了我俩经常吃的几个菜，结果味道还真好，应该是目前吃到的最好吃的川菜了，而且辣度达到我的标准，就是我的嘴唇被辣红了，哈哈 😄
Vienna

I did not expect to eat Chinese food on the first night in Vienna. We drove to Vienna and got settled at the AirBnb, parked our car at the 24 hour garage and after returning by subway to our area, it began to rain with thunder and lightning. We found this Sichuan restaurant that is said to be very authentic and it was very close to us. We walked in the rain with an umbrella and for more than six minutes and still got soaked. When we first entered, I was told that there was no tables available. But fortunately, we only had to wait for a little while for a table for two. The restaurant claimed that it did not change the Sichuan flavors for the Viennese people and tried to keep it authentic. We were very excited to order a few dishes that we often eat and they were very good. It clearly was the best Sichuan food we have had so far, and the spiciness reached my standard, that is, my lips were red hot, haha.

在罗马吃腻了毫无新意的意面，我俩终于在罗马许愿池附近找到了一家中国饭店。说不上具体什么菜，厨师是温州人，所以就是一般的家常菜吧。虽然味道一般，但是我还是超级高兴终于吃到了中餐，😂 这里的价格比较便宜，但是份量特效小。

Zhongyi Restaurant

In Rome, I was tired of eating pasta, and we finally found a Chinese restaurant near the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Can’t say anything specific, the chef is from Wenzhou, and it is in basic home style cooking. Although the taste was average, I was still very happy to finally eat Chinese food again. 😂 the price here was cheap but the portions were small. There was nothing special here.

在西班牙小吃的世界里吃四川小吃还算挺贴切的哈，😄 我俩非常思念中国菜了，尤其是川菜，来到马德里后的第一天，出来悠闲得闲逛，PJG极力主张中午找川菜吃，没想到这里有好几家呢！去了这个离我俩当时最近的一家。进去之后，只有一个西班牙人在那里，我问他厨师是不是中国人，结果他带我去厨房里看，😄 😂 经过我的验证，这里应该除了他都是中国人😂 。 总体来说，味道一般般吧，就是干煸四季豆最好吃了，水煮鱼的味道不对，而且鱼不新鲜。 价格虽然算是便宜的，但是那两个小菜的份量很小。

Sichuan Restaurant

Spain is famous for Tapa and we are going to have Sichuan Tapas! Because we both miss Chinese food very much, especially Sichuan cuisine. On the first day after arriving in Madrid we went out for a leisurely stroll. PJG strongly advocated looking for Sichuan food for lunch and I was surprised to find that they have several here! We went to this one that was closest to us at the time. After entering, there was only one Spanish waiter there and we were suspicious if it was a real Chinese restaurant. So I asked him if the chef was Chinese. He looked surprised and then took me to the kitchen to meet him. 😂 😂 In general, the taste here was not very good, the boiled fish tasted off and the fish was definitely not fresh. Although the price was cheap the size of the two side dishes were pretty small.
所以我的总结就是还是中国菜好吃！虽然味道无法和国内相提并论，但是和我尝试过的各式西餐比较起来的话，还是有丰富的味道，更适合我的味蕾 😄 不过真心的希望那些经营中国饭店的同胞们能够更用心些，能够真正地发扬中国菜的博大精深，让那些不了解的外国人们能够更欣赏中餐，让那些在外面拼搏的中国人能够更享受祖国的美食。
So my conclusion is that Chinese food is delicious! What a surprise! Although the dishes can’t be compared with the real Chinese ones, but compared with the various Western foods I have tried here in Europe, it still has the rich taste and is more pleasing to my taste buds. But I sincerely hope that my compatriots who run the Chinese restaurants can be more careful and sincere and can really promote the profoundness of Chinese cuisine, so that foreigners who do not understand can appreciate Chinese food more and that those Chinese people abroad can enjoy the food of their motherland.
