Zhaoyang started her new job just after returning from South America last December. At first she claimed, “we won’t be traveling for awhile,” but soon after she and I started getting the travel bug again and it wasn’t long after that we decided on a quick trip to Japan.
Given that she had just changed jobs, an extended trip wasn’t in the cards so we settled on a week in Tokyo. With only a week it didn’t make sense to travel to more than one place and Tokyo is a huge city with a lot of diversity of places to see and visit.
We will be staying in Shinjuku, a vibrant part of Tokyo with tons of little alley bars and restaurants. We are sure to have a lot of fun! We leave on May 26th and return on June 4th, so a total of 8 nights. We will be staying at the Hotel Gracery, with its huge iconic head of Godzilla towering over the city.
赵阳去年12月从南美洲回来后就开始了她的新工作。起初她宣称，“我们不会马上再旅行了”，但不久后，她和我又开始痴迷于旅行，没过多久我们就决定去日本做一次短途旅行。
鉴于她刚换了工作，长时间的旅行不在我们的考虑之列，所以我们决定在东京待一个星期。只有一个星期的时间，没有必要去太多的地方，东京是个大城市，有很多种类的地方可以看可以参观。
我们将会住在新宿，这是东京的一个繁华区域，有许多小巷子里的酒吧和餐馆。我们一定会玩得很开心！我们将于5月26日出发，6月4日返回，共8个晚上。我们会住在Gracery酒店，那里有一个巨大的哥斯拉头像标志醒目地耸立在城市上空。
