去马德里中转 Transfer in Madrid

Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Day 29 of the trip.

今天又是一个旅行的一天，下午的飞机去马德里停留一晚，当初决定在那里停留一晚是因为葡萄牙的里斯本要求入境游客提供新冠测试，所以考虑到如果万一测试阳性了，去不了里斯本，至少可以在马德里继续我俩的旅程。

Today is another travel day. The afternoon flight was to Madrid for a one night stopover. The decision to stay in Madrid was because originally we were concerned about Portugal’s Covid entry requirements. If we tested positive, we would not be able to go. So this way we could at least continue our journey in Madrid. But, stay tuned!

马耳他第5天 Malta Day 5

Monday, May 16, 2022. Day 28 of the trip.

今天是真的什么也没干，除了出去吃个午饭，晚饭，在酒店附近转悠了一小圈，就在阳台上和酒店一楼的躺椅上躺平了。

We didn’t really do much today, except for going out to lunch and dinner, wander around the hotel for a bit, and then lie flat on the reclining chairs on our balcony and by the beach of the hotel. Great Day!

寂静之城 The Silent City

作为“权利的游戏”的粉丝，今天的计划是去几个权游的拍摄地点，来到马耳他之前就做了一些功课，这也是期待来到这里的原因之一！早上我正在计划怎么坐公交车，都要大概1个小时10分钟左右，直达的唯一一班车要坐42站！PJG又一次例外地决定坐出租车！看来他这几天是真的累啦，哈哈，要用钱买容易。不过坐出租车还真节省时间和精力。他用了Bolt的软件，类似于Ubber，不到20分钟就到了。

As Game of Thrones (GoT) fans, today we planned to visit several GoT filming locations. I did some homework before coming to Malta, which was one of the reasons I looked forward to visiting here!

Saturday, May 14, 2022. Day 26 of the trip.

今天又是一个太阳毒辣的一天，上午沿着地中海的海岸线从酒店出发徒步了一个多小时，大概6公里。其实马耳他有一条 155 公里的步行路线，可以环游整个岛屿，这条路线很安全、可以欣赏地中海的美丽景色和沿途的各种天际线。早上10点多太阳已经非常大，感觉就在头顶上，没有树荫，所以走了大概6公里就被打败了，但是已经到了斯利马市和午饭时间。

Today was another hot sunny day. In the morning, we walked three miles along the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea from the hotel.

来到马耳他当然第一个要去的地方就是它的首都瓦莱塔，因为它是在1980年被列入世界文化遗产遗址的独特的城市。

When you visit Malta, the first place to tour is its capital, Valletta. Because it is a unique city it was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1980.

马耳他？世界上第十小的国家？从来没听说过! PJG选了马耳他作为目的地之一以后，我在油管上看了很多关于这个国家旅游的视频，发现马耳他还真是一个特别的地方，有三处世界文化遗产，其中一个整个首都被列为世界文化遗产，那里的建筑很有特色；我俩喜欢看的权利的游戏也曾在那里取景，真的很期待！

Malta? The tenth smallest country in the world? Never heard of it!
