和很多欧洲城市一样， 里斯本也有很多小巷，但是里斯本的独特之处是它的建筑外墙上的独特的上光彩绘瓷砖。走在这个城市的大街小巷，时不时就会看到用各种图案的彩绘瓷砖装饰的窗口，墙面，整栋大楼， 地铁，教堂。这些多姿多彩，闪闪发光的瓷砖正是里斯本独特的原因。

Like many European cities, Lisbon neighborhoods have many small alleys, but what makes Lisbon unique is the glazed painted tiles on the facades of its buildings. Walking through the streets and alleys of this city, from time to time you will see windows, walls, entire buildings, subways, churches decorated with painted tiles in unlimited patterns. These colorful, sparkling tiles are exactly what makes Lisbon unique.

Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Day 36 of the trip.

在里斯本的最后一天，也是比较放松的一天。早上去坐了Tram28，因为时间还比较早，人不是很多，很快就混到了两个座位，不过坐了一圈之后，我对为什么要起大早坐这个老式电车的原因产生了疑问？虽然感受这个电车爬坡穿越里斯本的各种小巷是一种经历，但是完全没必要和人家本地人挤在这个车里去体验这种经历。

The last day in Lisbon was also a more relaxing day. We went to take the Route 28 Tram in the morning as planned, because it was still early and there were not many people, so we quickly got two seats. But after riding it for awhile, I had questions about why we got up so early to take this old-fashioned tram? Although it is an experience to feel the tram climbing through the various alleys of Lisbon, there is absolutely no need to squeeze into this car with other locals for this experience. To be honest, cruising through the alleys on our scooters, although bumpy, was more exciting.

Monday, May 23, 2022. Day 35 of the trip.

今天没做什么，买了两张公交地铁24小时通票，每张6.9欧元，包括0.5欧元的卡费。本来打算去坐著名的Tram28，但是看到人比较多，打算明天早上再去坐，然后就去坐了tram15和两个爬坡的缆车，四处闲逛了一会儿。

We didn’t do too much today – we bought two 24-hour transportation passes for 6.9 euros each. We originally had big plans to take the famous Route 28 Tram, but we saw it was packed with people, so we decided to take it earlier tomorrow morning.

2022年5月22日，星期日，此次旅行的第34天

Sunday, May 22, 2022. Day 34 of the trip.

早上7点多，某人就兴奋地催我起床，要去继续骑电动踏板车！昨天付费的24小时，还剩6个多小时。快速地洗漱完毕，吃完牛角面包的早餐，也没完成昨天的游记，8点多就出门了，还是第一次这么早！

Just after 7am someone excitedly urged me to get up so we could continue riding the electric scooters! We had paid for 24 hours and there were more than 6 hours left. So after quickly washing up, eating our croissants for breakfast, and not finishing yesterday’s blogging, we left at 8 o’clock, the first time to get going so early!

Saturday, May 30, 2022, Day 33 of the trip.

今天的天气真的是很完美，凉爽又没有太阳，还有阵阵的海风，给了我俩一个徒步的好机会。昨天吃的太多了，今天早上真的没吃早餐，出发徒步去距离民宿大概8公里的贝伦塔。沿途看到了很多蓝花楹，给里斯本增添很多浪漫的味道。

Today’s weather was perfect for a hike: a cool overcast day with occasional light gusts of sea breeze. We really had eaten too much yesterday and missed picking up our croissants last night, so we had no breakfast this morning.

Friday, May 30, 2022. Day 32 of the trip.

有时候我们都会感觉，我们注定要去做或经历一些事情，有时候那些经历或做过的事情，却也并不是我们曾经感觉到的。今天大半天的行程竟然是围绕着一个饭店进行的！可见我这个吃货的本事，哈哈。 每次出来旅行都会在行程之前做很多功课，看很多视频，尤其是关于美食的。看“Somebody Feed Phil”的时候，主持人Phil来到了一个有着美丽景色的独特的饭店 – Ponto Final, 桌椅似乎就要掉进海里的感觉，那浩瀚的大海和背景中的里斯本和4月25日大桥，这个饭店马上就上了我的待做事情清单。

Sometimes we feel we are destined to do or experience things, and sometimes those things that we experience or do are not what we expected. Today, most of the day’s itinerary revolved around a restaurant!

“传奇的说法是里斯本和罗马一样，诞生于七座山丘中”。1755年的里斯本大地震摧毁了这个城市绝大多数建筑，现在的这座轻松城市的确是建在7座山丘之上。

Lisbon as the legend has it, like Rome, was born on seven hills. The Lisbon earthquake and fires of 1755 destroyed many of the city’s buildings. We found that the city of today is indeed built on seven hills and we climbed a few of them today.
